We strongly believe in helping to make our community a better place, not just for our clients and ourselves but for everyone. We support many community-based organizations and projects, and we contribute our time and construction expertise to good works. Giving back is built into our DNA.
We have long supported a number of organizations that offer shelter, food, and assistance. We helped build the expansive new home of the Ballard Food Bank; we regularly contribute to Operation Nightwatch, Northwest Harvest, and the Millionaire Club; and we have served as general contractor for several shelters run by the Compass Center, including Peter’s Place in Rainier Valley and Hammond House both downtown and in Greenwood.
For more than a dozen years, we have partnered with Conard Romano Architects as table captains at Habitat for Humanity’s annual luncheon, its signature fundraising event. Each year, we rally our friends in the design and building community to support Habitat’s work to renovate and construct homes alongside families who otherwise wouldn’t’ have an affordable place to live.
As builders we feel a special connection to the built environment of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, which is why, over the years, we’ve contributed to AIA Seattle, the design magazine ARCADE, and other design and building organizations. We are also proud supporters of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation.
