Steve Moeller

Steve grew up in the Midwest, graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in construction management, and joined Schultz Miller as a project manager in 1999. He became a partner in 2012. Steve is respected for his insightful contributions to projects large and small, his passion for building, and for the clarity of his thinking and communications. He lives on Mercer Island with his wife and three daughters. He’s also a big sports fan. On weekends, if he isn’t cheering on his favorite team, he might be doing any number of outdoor activities or “finishing up” those endless home improvement projects.
Tony Giaquinta
Owner
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Tony holds a degree in construction management and has been a project manager for 32 years, the last 17 with Schultz Miller. He became a partner in 2021 and is known for his can-do attitude, sense of humor, and team-building spirit. Clients and designers value Tony’s strengths in estimating and project management coupled with his appreciation for design and craftsmanship. Tony lives in West Seattle with his wife, three sons and lab, Ginger. He coaches select soccer and enjoys nothing more than watching his sons play their chosen sport or grilling in his backyard with family and friends.
James Forslund
Partner
James is a Seattle-area native with a degree in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University and a Certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington. Following college, he operated his own construction company and held various sales and operations roles at other firms. He joined Schultz Miller in 2015 as our Service Division Manager and became a partner 2024. James has a passion for homebuilding, technology, and mentoring others. Outside of work, James lives in Bellevue with his wife and two daughters and enjoys hosting family gatherings, woodworking, and skiing.
Mark Martin
Partner
Mark joined Schultz Miller in 2018 following a successful tenure with a Mercer Island residential construction company. For 12 years prior, he owned and operated a residential construction company in the Seattle area. Beyond high-end homes, Mark’s experience includes building speculative homes, rental management and commercial improvements. Mark maintains a significant presence in business groups focused on improving construction, including Vistage and Master Builders, and is a regular guest on the “Home Design Academy” podcast. Mark grew up on Mercer Island and is active in several community boards and organizations. Outside of work, Mark prioritizes family and enjoys skiing, running, tennis and pickleball.
Pete Lacic
Partner
Pete has worked in residential construction for 22 years, entering the trades after high school and gaining experience in all phases of construction. He earned a degree in Construction Management from Edmonds Community College and managed construction projects and operations for a large general contractor before joining Schultz Miller in 2019. Pete is respected for his forthright manner and his strong communication skills. Pete volunteers his time to build housing and churches, enjoys golf, and loves spending time with his wife and two children, at home or at his kids’ Brazilian jiu jitsu tournaments.
